This course offers an introduction to the theory and practice of management that have applicability to all types of enterprises; basic management philosophy and decision-making; principles involved in planning, organizing, leading, and controlling; and recent concepts in management. Management is discussed as a functional, problem-solving process aimed at accomplishing organizational goals efficiently and effectively.
