- Aggressive adaptation: Reinforcing cities, coastlines, and agricultural grids to survive a hostile climate during the multi-decade overshoot window.
- Active carbon removal: Moving beyond just planting trees—which can only shave off about a tenth of a degree—toward industrial carbon capture and direct air storage to pull CO2 out of the atmosphere.
